Perth iPhone app of the week – Shazam

Perth iPhone app of the week - Shazam

Ever been listening to the radio and thought, I know that song, who sings it? Now you never have to wonder again, assuming you’ve got an iPhone, that is.  With Shazam, you just hold your phone in front of your speaker for a few seconds and it tells you the artists, the song and the album it is from.  Some Shazam iPhone apps even have links to the YouTube website and to iTunes.

Nice!

Moulded Timbers website – “the website that will grow with my business”

To the Nutwork Team,

I’ve been exceptionally happy with the whole team at Nutwork from the very start of this process. You’ve all been great getting to know my business, putting the concept together, and finally creating the website that will grow with my business.

We’ll certainly be doing more work together in regards to doing more of our 3D profile drawings.

Again, please pass on my thanks to your team for creating what I think is an awesome website, and I’ll be sure to drop in soon and speak to you about what else you can help us out with.

How green is your website?

In this age of environmental friendliness, it would be negligent to not consider the environment when developing your website. But websites can’t harm the environment, can they? Well, the answer is that they can. Websites are hosted in massive data centres, on very big power-hungry computers with lots and lots of air-conditioning to keep them cool. That is to say, most websites are. Nutwork websites are hosted on The Green Grid!

The Green Grid develops new and meaningful, platform-neutral standards, measurement methodologies, processes and technologies that will improve the energy performance of data centres around the globe. Its board of directors includes industry leaders such as AMD, APC, Dell, HP, IBM, Intel, Microsoft, Rackable Systems, SprayCool, Sun Microsystems and VMware.

Go green, Go Nutwork!
