Apple Store opens in Perth

Apple Store opens in Perth

We, at Nutwork, are very excited about the Apple Store opening in Perth tomorrow.  Apple truly make beautfully crafted products.  From the Mac Computer to the iPod, iPhone and now the iPad, they have cornered the market for funky, functional ‘must-have’ products.

Below are some tips from Apple about how to buy their goods.  Thanks Apple.  Our advice: love it, buy it, be happy :)

Shopping tips from the Apple Store

  • Tip 1. Shop early. Shop late. The store tends to be busiest in the middle of the day. Shopping early in the morning or late in the evening helps you avoid the crowds.
  • Tip 2. Make an appointment. Test-drive new products and learn all about them by making a Personal Shopping appointment.
  • Tip 3. Check out anywhere. When you use your credit card for purchases, any Specialist can check you out on the spot.
  • Tip 4. Don't be afraid to ask for help. If you have any questions, just ask. Any of our Specialists can point you in the right direction.

Nutwork gets new business cards

Because even the cobbler needs new shoes

The business card is more than just a piece of paper with a company's logo and a person's contact details, business cards are now considered a critical contact point of companies to the world.

A modern company would rightly consider their business card a marketing tool, an advertisement that communicates not just their employee's contact details, but more of the type of company they are.

An artistic, glossy card, for example, would give an impression of a company that values individuality and creativity while a traditional, conservative-looking business cards scream an old traditional corporate atmosphere.

In business people do not judge a book by its cover; they judge a company by its business card!

Some client feedback for Nutwork

“Great work in getting the site up and running in such a short time frame.”

How to: pretend like you’re working while playing Pacman

google pacman game

Problem: You’re at work, you are a little bored.  You need to look like you are working, but you just have to play a game to get your fix.

Solution: Google Pacman!  Google have outdone themselves with this “doodle”.  You can play the  game and search the net at the same time.  As long as you keep your search work related you should be all good.

Have a go, and let us know your high score.

Amazingly, the whole animation is done with one image, some clever CSS, and, of course, our favourite friend, Javascript.  Puts your “hello world” script to shame, doesn’t it?
