Google Editions is a new online service from Google that will allow the downloading of electronic books (Ebooks) to mobile telephones, smart phones, iPhones and laptops from next year.
Google plans on starting off their new online service with around 500,000 publications – and that’s just to kick things off.
According to Google, “The books bought from Google, and its partners, would be accessible on any gadget that has a Web browser, including smartphones, netbooks and personal computers and laptops. A book would be accessible offline after the first time it was accessed.”
