Having Problems with your GMail?

Google have announced that they have finally resolved a major issue with it’s contact system that caused a lot of it’s GMail users to have trouble getting into their online e-mails last week.

Online e-mail systems are great - convenient, free (usually), and you can access them anywhere in the world from any internet cafe.

However, when they have problems - you’re in big trouble, particularly if you are relying on a free online service for your business or home consultancy.

Google said that the outage in the contacts system used by Gmail prevented the e-mail system from loading properly and displaying e-mails - effectively shutting down the system. Google also said that there may be minor delays in deliveries even though all mail is safe and will eventually be delivered.
